Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of VoiceCheck.
VoiceCheck is a web-based service that helps teachers create speaking assignments, collect student recordings, receive AI-assisted transcripts and suggested assessment results, and manage classroom speaking assessment.
By creating a VoiceCheck teacher account, you agree to these Terms of Service and the VoiceCheck Privacy Policy.
1. Teacher Accounts
VoiceCheck teacher accounts are intended for teachers and other authorized educational users.
You are responsible for the activity performed through your account and for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials.
You must provide accurate account information and must not use another person's account without authorization.
2. Students and Classroom Use
VoiceCheck allows teachers to collect student speaking submissions without requiring students to create individual VoiceCheck accounts.
Teachers are responsible for deciding which students use VoiceCheck and what information is collected through their assignments.
By using VoiceCheck with students, you confirm that you have the authority to provide the relevant student information and that you will provide any required notices and obtain any necessary consent or permission from students and parents or guardians before collecting voice recordings or other personal information.
You must not use VoiceCheck to collect personal information that is unnecessary for the educational activity.
3. AI-Assisted Assessment
VoiceCheck uses artificial intelligence to generate transcripts, suggested scores, and feedback.
AI-generated results may contain inaccuracies.
VoiceCheck is designed to support classroom assessment. It is not an identity-verified language examination service and does not provide certified language proficiency results.
Suggested scores are not final decisions made by VoiceCheck.
The teacher remains responsible for final grading, assessment decisions, and student feedback.
Teachers may review and, where the product permits, change AI-generated assessment results.
4. Plans and Usage Limits
VoiceCheck currently provides the following plans:
Free: 50 assessments per monthly usage period.
Pro: 1,000 assessments per monthly usage period at 399 THB per month.
Ultra: 2,000 assessments per monthly usage period at 799 THB per month.
An assessment is charged when a new student recording is submitted for evaluation. A student retake that creates a new recording counts as another assessment.
Technical reprocessing of the same recording and teacher-initiated reassessment of an existing submission do not create another assessment charge where VoiceCheck treats them as non-billable reprocessing.
Unused assessment allowance does not create cash value and is not transferable between accounts.
VoiceCheck may change plans, prices, limits, or features in the future. Any change affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated before it becomes applicable to that subscription.
5. Paid Subscriptions and Creem
Paid VoiceCheck subscriptions are purchased through Creem.
Creem acts as the Merchant of Record for paid VoiceCheck transactions. Creem processes the payment, issues the applicable payment documentation, and handles applicable indirect taxes in accordance with its own terms.
When purchasing a paid subscription, you are also subject to the applicable Creem Buyer Terms presented as part of the purchasing process.
VoiceCheck does not independently process refunds for transactions completed through Creem. Any approved refund for such a transaction is processed through Creem.
6. Automatic Renewal
Pro and Ultra subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis until canceled.
By starting a paid subscription, you authorize the recurring charges associated with the selected plan until the subscription is canceled.
The amount charged at each renewal is the applicable subscription price shown for your plan, together with any taxes or other amounts handled by Creem where applicable.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription through the available subscription-management functionality.
Cancellation stops future subscription renewals.
After cancellation, paid access remains available until the end of the already-paid subscription period. The subscription then stops renewing.
Cancellation does not by itself delete your VoiceCheck account or classroom data.
8. Refunds
VoiceCheck paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a paid subscription period has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law, Creem's applicable buyer terms, payment-provider rules, or another requirement governing the transaction.
If you believe there is a significant problem with the service or that a charge should be reviewed, contact [email protected].
VoiceCheck may, at its discretion, approve a partial refund in an appropriate case. Any discretionary refund will not exceed the value attributable to the unused portion of the current paid subscription period.
All refunds for transactions processed through Creem are issued through Creem.
Cancellation alone does not automatically create a refund.
9. Student Recordings and Data
Student recordings and classroom data are handled according to the VoiceCheck Privacy Policy.
Hosted student submission audio is retained for 30 days from upload and is then made unavailable for normal assessment and scheduled for deletion from VoiceCheck-controlled storage.
Teachers should not upload recordings, personal information, or other material that they do not have the right or authority to provide.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not use VoiceCheck to upload, submit, distribute, or facilitate:
- unlawful, abusive, threatening, or harmful content;
- content that infringes intellectual property or other rights;
- recordings or personal information that you are not authorized to provide;
- malicious software or attempts to interfere with the operation or security of VoiceCheck;
- use intended to bypass service limits, access controls, or security mechanisms.
VoiceCheck may restrict or suspend access where necessary to protect the service, users, students, or third parties from misuse or security threats.
11. Service Availability
VoiceCheck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure failures, updates, provider outages, or other technical issues.
VoiceCheck may modify or discontinue features as the product develops.
VoiceCheck does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI-generated results will always be accurate.
12. Third-Party Services
VoiceCheck depends on third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, authentication, storage, AI processing, communication integrations, and billing providers.
Some VoiceCheck functionality may be affected by the availability or operation of those third-party services.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms applicable to those services.
13. Intellectual Property
VoiceCheck retains its rights in the VoiceCheck software, interface, branding, and service.
Teachers retain their rights in original assignment content and other material they provide to VoiceCheck.
You grant VoiceCheck permission to process content you submit only as necessary to provide, operate, secure, and support the VoiceCheck service in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
This permission does not give VoiceCheck ownership of teacher or student content.
14. Limitation of Responsibility
VoiceCheck is an assessment-support tool, not a substitute for professional teacher judgment.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VoiceCheck is not responsible for losses resulting solely from reliance on an inaccurate AI-generated transcript, score, feedback item, or other automated output where the teacher has the ability and responsibility to review the result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Account and Data Deletion
A teacher may request deletion of their VoiceCheck account and associated VoiceCheck data by contacting:
Deleting an account does not require third-party providers such as Creem to erase records they are independently required or permitted to retain for billing, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes.
16. Changes to These Terms
VoiceCheck may update these Terms as the service changes.
The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
Where a change materially affects paid subscription terms or the way VoiceCheck handles user obligations, VoiceCheck will provide appropriate notice before the change takes effect where required.
